What to see in Venice

Venice and its lagoon have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. From Vicenza it's an easy train ride away, in under an hour: enough time to cross Piazza San Marco, the Grand Canal and some of the most famous bridges in the world.

Piazza San Marco and the Basilica
