What to see in Verona

Verona's historic centre has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000. From Vicenza it's one of the easiest day trips: just a short train ride to the Roman Arena, medieval lanes and the famous balcony of Juliet.

Juliet's House

Castelvecchio and Ponte Scaligero

A 14th-century Scaliger fortress on the Adige river, linked to the fortified bridge with one of the largest brick arches surviving from the Middle Ages.
